1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CraftLetter ("Service"), operated by CraftLetter ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.

2. Description of Service

CraftLetter is an AI-powered job application toolkit. The Service includes cover letter generation, CV diagnosis with match scoring, quick CV scanning, and multi-asset job application packs. Users provide a job description and optional personal details, and the Service generates tailored application materials using artificial intelligence. The Service is available in free and paid tiers.

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted

4. Free and Paid Plans

Free Tier

The free tier allows 3 cover letter generations and 3 CV analyses per month. Free usage is subject to fair use and may be limited or modified at our discretion.

Starter Plan ($7/month)

The Starter plan provides 10 cover letter generations and 3 CV analyses per month, 2 tone templates, and TXT export. Billing occurs monthly through Paddle.

Professional Plan ($20/month)

The Professional plan provides unlimited cover letter generations, unlimited CV analyses, PDF/Word/ATS Text export, all tone templates, Job Application Pack, and Quality Guard with auto-rewrite. A one-time $10 setup fee is charged with the first month ($30 first month, then $20/month). An annual plan is also available at $100/year.

5. Payments and Billing

  • All payments are processed securely through PayPal
  • Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes
  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting us
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After 14 days, monthly subscription payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel to prevent future charges.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or mass-generate content
  • Resell or redistribute generated content as a competing service
  • Circumvent usage limits or rate limiting
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise system security

8. AI-Generated Content

  • Cover letters are generated by AI and may require editing before use
  • We do not guarantee that generated content is factually accurate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content
  • We do not guarantee job application success or interview invitations
  • Generated cover letters are yours to use for personal job applications

9. Intellectual Property

The CraftLetter name, logo, design, and underlying technology are owned by us. Cover letters generated through the Service are yours to use freely for personal job applications. You may not claim ownership of the AI technology or algorithms used to generate content.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to access paid features will cease at the end of your current billing period.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
